Dry van truckload
Full 53′ trailer loads, door to door, under one bill and one driver from pickup to delivery.
Dry Van Truckload · 48-State Authority
IVA Transportation is an owner-operated dry van carrier out of Darien, Illinois. One truck, one driver, one point of contact — the person who books your freight is the person behind the wheel. No dispatch queue, no handoffs, no guessing where your trailer is.
01 — Freight
Straightforward dry van work, run properly. If it fits in a 53-foot van and it needs to arrive when it was promised, it is in scope.
Full 53′ trailer loads, door to door, under one bill and one driver from pickup to delivery.
Standard palletized freight, cartons, and packaged goods, loaded and secured to shipper requirements.
Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Iowa lanes with predictable turn times out of the Chicago area.
48-state authority for over-the-road runs, and recurring lanes for shippers who want the same truck every week.
One driver, one standard
At a large carrier your load is one of hundreds, passed between a dispatcher, a planner and whichever driver happened to be empty. Here it is the only load on the truck, moved by the person who answers the phone. That is the whole proposition — and the reason the updates are accurate.
02 — Company
IVA Transportation INC is a licensed motor carrier registered in Darien, Illinois, operating under USDOT 3923158 and MC-1451757 with authority to haul property across the lower 48.
We are deliberately small. One well-maintained tractor and a 53′ dry van, operated by the owner. That means we turn down loads we cannot run properly rather than covering them badly, and it means the answer you get about your freight comes from the cab, not from a screen two states away.
Brokers and shippers who work with us tend to come back for the same reason: the truck shows up, the paperwork is clean, and nobody has to chase anyone.
03 — Standards
Nothing exotic. The things that keep freight undamaged, legal and on time, done every single trip.
Documented DVIRs on every run. Defects get fixed before the truck moves, not after.
ELD-logged, FMCSA-compliant hours. We quote transit times we can legally run.
Scheduled service intervals rather than run-to-failure, so breakdowns do not become your delay.
Load bars, straps and blocking as the freight requires, loaded to the shipper’s pattern.
One phone number. Updates at pickup, in transit and at delivery, without being asked twice.
Signed BOLs and PODs returned promptly so billing is not held up on our end.
Careers
We are a small carrier growing carefully, and we would rather add one driver who fits than four who do not. If you run clean, communicate before you are asked, and treat the equipment like it is yours, we would like to talk.
Contact
Call for availability, rates and transit times. If we can run it properly we will say yes, and if we cannot we will tell you straight away.
